CIVIL CAD TECHNICIAN - IRELAND
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client is a multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy who
specialises in infrastructure projects.
They operate in the highways, rail, site development and wastewater
sectors and are currently growing the team.
The successful candidate will support the senior engineers and
technicians in the preparation of design drawings and 3D models using
Revit and CAD for a range of large scale civil/structural projects
Using cutting edge design techniques you will assist in the planning
tendering and developing of construction documents
Work will be primarily office based, with potential for limited remote
work.
Under supervision you will assist in the preparation of high-quality
engineering BIM models and design drawings for a broad range of
structural engineering projects.
You will assist in the preparation of planning, tender and
construction documents.
All work will be carried out in accordance with the company ISO
procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Level 6 qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years post-graduate experience in a design office assisting in the
preparation of drawings for outline and detailed designs for
structural engineering projects.
Civils 3D & MX Roads experience
A good working knowledge of engineering draughting software including
AutoCAD and CADS-RC.
3D software experience preferably Revit
A thorough understanding of construction materials and construction
methodology.
Excellent communication skills
